AI does not invent hacking. It speeds it up

What this means for normal workplaces

You do not need a war room and a six-figure tool stack. You need a system that still works when the attacker is faster than your help desk.

• Patch what you run. Make it routine, not a special project.
• Turn on extra login checks for email, banking, and admin accounts.
• Cut leftover accounts. If that person left last year, their login should be gone.
• Know what customer data you actually keep and who can see it.
• Have a one-page plan for who you call if something looks wrong.
• Stop treating “we are too small to hit” as security. Attackers with AI do not care how small you are if the door is open.

Fix the system you already have
