Disclaimer

I have written many times about my contempt for Google. The way that it is run, the horrific censorship, platform manipulation and the abuse of the content creators who make a living (or try to) via the site. The people who run Alphabet / Google use it as a cash cow and put as little effort into the user / creator experience as they can, because why would they change anything? They control the center of the entertainment universe in a way that the big movie studios in the 1950s could have never even dreamed about.
Google is a criminal monopoly that no one can or will (still not sure which) reign in. Competitors are more or less non-existent and don’t tell me Rumble is a legitimate alternative, it just is not. It is all a terrible mess, but the simple fact is that we all use it because that is where the creators are in order to be seen.
