ShinyHunters hacks One Medical, Amazon’s Telehealth Company
ShinyHunters posted a claim today that they compromised more than 8.8TB of data from Amazon-owned OneMedical.com.
Their statement: “Over 8.8TB of data was compromised. This is a final warning to reach out by 22 June 2026 before we leak along with several annoying (digital) problems that’ll come your way. Make the right decision, don’t be the next headline.”
The claim appeared this morning on public breach tracking sites. Amazon and One Medical have not issued a detailed public response to it yet. The group has been active with multiple similar claims in recent days.
For anyone handling or relying on healthcare-related systems and data, these situations are a reminder to review vendor security practices, confirm data handling agreements, and make sure incident response plans cover third-party compromises.
